In This Article we are going to discuss about the advertisement for the various teaching positions in the university specifically for the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. Friends, you can visit the Allahabad University website and there this notification has come on 11th April 2025. And they have uploaded three different PDFs:
- The first one is for the teaching position for the Professor.
- The second is for the Associate Professor.

Assistant Professor Notification Details
- This notification reference number has been given by them.
- The uploading date of the detailed advertisement and online registration is 11th April 2025.
- You can start your fee payment from 11th April.
- The last date of online registration is 2nd May 2025.
- The last date of final submission of the online application form is also 2nd May 2025.
Application Fee
They have specified the application fee for:
- General / OBC / EWS : Rs. 2000/-
- SC / ST : Rs. 1000/-
- All Category PH : Rs. 100/-
- Mode of Payment : Online
And those who had applied earlier in 2023 and their selection procedure has not been completed yet, they will apply again and their facilitation charge will be ₹100

General Instructions
- If you are applying for Assistant Professor, then refer to the UGC Regulation 2018 in Appendix to Table Three and you can do your calculation that how many API scores you are getting.
- The third point that they have written is very important:
Whatever faculty position you are applying for, your research papers should be from the specialized area only.- If those papers are not from the specialized area, then they will not be counted.
- Try to keep your papers from the specialized area on top.
Additional Conditions
- Candidates belonging to the EWS category should submit a proper certificate as per the representation of the Government of India.
For Employed Candidates
- Employed candidates must produce the following at the time of interview:
- No Objection Certificate (NOC)
- Salary Slip
- ITR
- Certificate that no vigilance case is pending against him or her.
- Certificate that the applicant will be relieved within one month of the receipt of the offer of appointment if selected.
So those who are in employment should read this point very carefully because you will have to upload all these things and also give a certificate in which these two things should be clearly mentioned.
For Online Interview Requests
- If, in any case, due to insufficient reasons, you cannot appear offline, and want to appear online, then you will have to take prior approval from the Vice Chancellor.
For Candidates Who Applied in 2023
- Especially those people who had applied earlier in 2023, if the vacancy has not been made in their department yet, then:
- They can revise their form.
- The charges that you will have to pay are Rs 100, which is the same for all categories.

- The date is 11/4/2025 which has been issued.
- The date deadline is the same.
