The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur issued the provisional answer key for JEE Advanced 2025. The participants of Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2025 are able to access the answer key on the jeeadv.ac.in. website. This provisional answer key is beneficial for candidates as it allows them to checkpoint their scores based on estimated results prior to the announcement of the final scores. Students also have a chance to contest and raise claims if they note down errors.

Steps to Download Provisional Answer Key

To download the answer key, type the website address jeeadv.ac.in on your browser. Then look for answer key paper one and two on the homepage.

Viewing Options: Your answer key will open as a PDF document on your screen.

Keep and Print: Save the PDF file and make a printed copy for your records.

Raising Objections

Only participants who registered for the test and believe that there is a mistake in the provisional answer key can raise objections. The period for filing objections will begin on May 26, 2025, 10 AM and will end on May 27, 2025, 5 PM. Further details about filing objections will be posted on the main page later.

So What Happens After This?

As stated above, the candidates were given an opportunity to double-check their answer sheets against the questions. Candidates were given from May 22, 2025, onward to see how their answered the test and were provided with copies of their responses. . It consisted of two parts: Paper 1 which was from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Paper 2 which was from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. This year, the number of students who registered for JEE Advanced reached 187,223.

The JEE Advanced 2025 outcome is scheduled for release along with the final answer key on June 2, 2025 at 10 AM.
