The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has published the waiting list for the post of Sub-Inspector (Finance Department). This list has been released under Notification No. 04 of 2020 for item numbers 118, 121, and 123. The waiting list is prepared after the completion of the selection process and is based on the non-joining of selected candidates in the first list . The JKSSB Board has taken this step to fill the remaining vacancies, So That deserving candidates get an opportunity In selection list .The initial selection list was published on 29th July 2024, but some candidates DID not join The department or their candidature being cancelled by JKSSB , vacancies remained unfilled. Now, JKSSB has prepared a fresh waiting list to fill these pending posts .

The recruitment notification has originally advertised 62 posts for Sub-Inspector (Finance Department) under direct recruitment. These posts were divided into: UT JAMMU KASHMIR Cadre (Item No. 118): 12 posts Division Jammu (Item No. 121): 48 posts Division Kashmir (Item No. 123): 2 posts After the final selection, the Finance Department forwarded the vacancies, but 13 candidates did not join the department , and 2 had their candidature cancelled by JKSSB . This left 15 vacancies to be filled from the waiting list . The Board has now released the names of candidates who may get selected In place of 15 Posts The waiting list for these posts was finalized in the 304th JKSSB Board Meeting held on 15th May 2025.
